No. Many of our members start with little or no recent exercise experience. Our coaching process is designed to help beginners build confidence safely.
Foundations sessions are three one-on-one coaching sessions that new members complete before joining Group Classes. During these sessions, we teach the basic movement patterns, explain how classes work, and show you how to modify exercises to suit your current fitness level.
The goal isn’t perfection. The goal is confidence.
Foundations are important because they help you feel comfortable with the gym, the coaches, and the exercises before stepping into a class. They also give our coaches an opportunity to identify any injuries, mobility restrictions, or other limitations so we can help you train safely and effectively from day one.
Yes. Many members begin with Personal Training, particularly if they have injuries, specific goals or would prefer additional support.
A No Sweat Intro is a free consultation where we discuss your goals, training history, injuries and concerns. There is no workout involved.
Most members complete three one-on-one Foundations sessions before joining Group Classes. This helps build confidence and teaches the basics.
We’ll discuss any injuries during your No Sweat Intro and recommend the most appropriate starting point. Many members begin with Personal Training to address limitations before progressing into Group Classes.
